Dunlop cost less and is great for support, fine for kids and youth who can sleep on anything.
But, Talalay is best in the pillow top for comfort, it's like magic but lacks support because it bottoms out in a mattress but is wonderful for relief from painful pressure points.
Adding Dunlop to a already Dunlop mattress defeats the purpose of a pillow top except when you just want a topper for a existing mattress. But a existing mattress that lacks support will continue to lack support.
