Below you will find frequently asked questions that we compiled together for you to provide optimal customer service.

Why is organic important?

Mattresses and crib mattresses are made from polyurethane foam and contain toxic flame retardants proven to lower IQ by 5 points. Flame retardants such as Chlorinated Tris which has been banned over 35 years ago in children's mattresses and are now being put in almost all mattresses on the market today.

What is Tris?
A toxic flame retardant that is a known Carcinogen, hormone disrupter and neuro toxin. Tris is the #1. Most widely used flame retardant on the market today. Chlorinated Tris is used in mattresses, sofas, carpets most anything made from the highly flammable polyurethane foam. Polyurethane foam is made from petroleum oil so sleeping on it is like sleeping on liquid gasoline, no wonder babies often have allergies and breathing problems.

Why are organic mattresses so expensive?
Because they are not made in some chemical factory. Instead the rubber is milked from the tree in the hot, humid forest much like maple syrup. The casing is made from organic cotton and wool. But the return on investment in health and being able to use the crib mattress for other things such as daybed sectional, pet beds, pillows allows the crib mattress to continue to give health and comfort for years.

What makes your mattresses safe?
Our mattresses are made safe with the use of wool because wool is a natural fire barrier. Plus, we don’t use petroleum oil, formaldehyde or toxic flame retardants.

Are all your mattresses chemical free?
There is no such thing as chemical free. Even water and the air we breath has chemicals in it. To say anything is chemical free is misleading and against FTC regulations. Our crib mattress is certified organic all the way through.

Why is it bad to reuse crib mattresses?
Typically crib mattresses breed bacteria because they are made from polyurethane foam. Our organic mattress is safe to hand down from generation to generation as long as it has been kept clean because the rubber used in our mattresses don’t breed bacteria and is anti-microbial, dust mite resistant because it is the natural defense of the rubber tree to not let bugs attack it. They don’t like the taste of smell of rubber. Anti-microbial spray is pesticides. Who wants that in their mattress?

Are there any other uses for your crib mattresses once the baby outgrows it?
Yes, we can build a platform for the crib mattress so they can get out of bed by themselves. Then as the child gets older you can attach the crib mattress to a split queen mattress by using our organic sofa sectional frame. So mom or dad can sleep with the toddler in their own room. So our mattresses grow with your baby and makes a great bedroom design. You can also make pet beds, seat cushions, sofa cushions, and pillows out of it.

Won’t plastic mattress covers hold in all the toxins?
Not according to Duke University researchers. The toxic flame retardants and chemicals used in polyurethane foam are aromatic. They don’t bond themselves to the polyurethane but, instead they fly out every time you lay your child on the mattress and falls on them. Unfortunately, you and your child breathe it and their skin absorbs it all night long. Then these toxic chemicals get attached to your household dust and according to Duke University researchers your dust becomes more toxic than drinking sludge. As a result, this toxic dust falls on the floor where your baby and pets crawl around and put things in their mouths. This is just one more way how your baby can ingest these toxic flame retardants.

What size are your crib mattresses?
52” x 27.5” x 6”
